WorkingMums.co.uk, the UK’s #1 jobsite for working mothers, has launched a new channel for franchises today.

The new channel, FranchiseZone, advertises a wide range of franchise opportunities for enterprising parents who are looking to take more control over how they balance their work and family life. Franchise opportunities currently being advertised on the site include Kumon, Jo Jingles, Oven Clean, FakeBake and Molly Maid. It also includes case studies of successful franchisees and expert advice on franchise-related issues from Tom Endean, Marketing Manager at the British Franchise Association. FranchiseZone has been created in response to a growing interest in franchises from WorkingMums.co.uk’s database of over 43,000 candidates.

Over the past two years, the number of franchise opportunities being advertised on the site has gradually grown and franchisors report an excellent response. WorkingMums.co.uk believes the match between franchisors and its database of skilled professionals will prove mutually beneficial for all, opening up new possibilities for working parents and a new audience for franchisors. WorkingMums.co.uk candidates have a vast amount of skills and are highly motivated. They work in a wide range of fields and typically have over 10 years experience, often at managerial level with some being at board level.

Dionne White, Sales Director of WorkingMums.co.uk, says: “We are delighted to be launching FranchiseZone, it offers franchisors a wealth of experienced potential franchisees and working parents the freedom to work for themselves without the risk of starting up a business totally from scratch. In the current economic climate, many parents will be looking at new ways of working, whether it is as a franchisee or working flexibly around children. WorkingMums is keen to encourage innovative approaches to working life which work for both employees and business.”
