Description The Institute of Interim Managers. The IIM is the institute that represents those executives who practice as interim managers. A good source of information on trends and best practice, recruiters and partners. The establishment of the Institute of Interim Management marked an important milestone in the development of Interim management as a recognised professional discipline. In affiliation with the industry trade body, the Interim Management Association (IMA, formerly ATIES) and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), the IIM was launched in April 2001.
