The Insolvency Service

The Insolvency Service is responsible for the administration of corporate insolvencies when a company goes into compulsory liquidation through the official receiver. 

The Service also has to the power to conduct confidential investigations into limited companies that are still trading where we have received information to suggest corporate abuse through our company investigation teams.
