Description British Chambers of Commerce - useful for finding your local chamber for networking and business information. The BCC is the national body for a powerful and influential network of Accredited Chambers; a network that serves not only its member businesses employing more than 5 million people but also the wider business community. No other UK business organisation has the geographic spread of the BCC, nor the multi-sectoral, multi-size membership achieved by more than 60 local Chambers of Commerce and a network of Chambers across the globe. Every Chamber sits at the very heart of its local business community; reaching the entire business community and providing services, information and guidance to its members. No other UK business organisation represents its network and members at such senior levels of UK decision-making. The BCC works with government to shape policy affecting UK businesses of all sizes, and focuses on key areas of activity including international trade, skills development and business services alongside building a strong and professional network of Chambers. No other UK business organisation is growing as fast as the BCC. It is locally placed, regionally focused and nationally represented.
