The New Life Network site originally started out to help those who had been made redundant. However the career resources, directories and advice sections appeal to anyone looking for a new direction in life, students and career break returners which may make it an ideal place for you as employers to find the new recruits that your company needs for the future. This page outlines how we might be able to help you, however, please don't hesitate to contact us if you would like to discuss any other ideas.
Redundancy help
Making redundancies - if you are making redundancies, referring employees to the New Life Network website is free of charge. If you are unsure of what constitutes best practice when it comes to organising your redundancy programme, scroll down to our employer guide at the bottom of the page. Link to us - you could also link to us from the appropriate part of your website to the New Life site. CIPD members will find a link to our site listed on the useful resources pages of the CIPD redundancy pages.  Provide a copy of our book - offering redundant employees copies of our book – ‘Rebuilding your life after redundancy’ (ISBN 1845491017) provides a useful addition to any redundancy counselling or outplacement programme and sends out a positive signal regarding your commitment to their future welfare, to your remaining employees, customers and stakeholders. There are two copies held in the CIPD Library and one in the Chartered Institute of Management Library if you would like to view it before buying your own copies. Can't afford outplacement? If you are a small company or you've gone into receivership and you can't afford expensive outplacement fees, a copy of the book and a referral to the site could go a long way to helping your employees pick themselves up again.
