As part of their National Freelancer’s Day celebrations on November 23rd, to highlight the valuable contribution freelancers make to the economy, the PCG (Professional Contractors Group) is asking all freelancers to support it by:

Registering for and participating in the debate at their free Online Event

Seeking out and attending your nearest local networking group

Earlier this year the PCG produced a guidance leaflet for freelancers and contractors who may be thinking about claiming Jobseeker’s Allowance. Their five page guide explains the eligibility rules for this benefit clearly, concisely, and in sufficient detail to inform you if you choose to make a claim, and also provides advice on help paying your mortgage, council tax, and other housing costs.
