BoardBank was launched in spring 2007 by Rockpools as a new initiative to reduce the cost for charities when recruiting high calibre and skilled Non Executives/Trustees and Directors.
On a daily basis Rockpools come across organisations looking for Non Executives/Trustees and Directors and highly experienced professionals looking to share their time, skills and expertise as a Trustee in the not-for-profit sector.
They have collaborated closely with acevo (Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations) and the Cass Business School. Boardbank is also supported by Executive Action, and the Institute of Directors.
Rockpools is committed to increasing the quality of governance with charities. They are bringing together a diverse pool of people with different skill sets and levels of experience who have expressed an interest in becoming a Non Executives/Trustees and Directors.
They also offer quarterly networking opportunities for those on the Bank to meet and share best practise with other potential Non Executives/Trustees and Directors.
